2GAP means Gender & Governance Action Platform
Gender
Because a society cannot be at peace with itself or with others, prosperous and sustainable, without the equal participation of women and men in its construction. This responds to the universal principles of equality and justice.
Governance
Because the world is doomed if it does not change its governance, both public and private. To change society and the world, we must have the power to decide. And half of humanity cannot be excluded from this decision-making power.
Action
Because 257 years to achieve economic parity (Source: World Economic Forum’s Global Gender Gap Report 2020) seems too long. We consider it necessary today to move up a gear. The urgency is all the more acute as our world is in complete transformation
Platform
Because we are a global collective, launched in March 2020 by a French branch made up for the first time of 37 public and private networks, all ambassadors at the national, European and international levels of the values of professional equality and gender diversity.
